Billing Procedure

• The meters are manually read on an annual basis during the month of April.
• The data in entered into the schemes billing software, where the previous reading is subtracted from the current reading, giving the units consumed for the billing period.
• The free allowance, currently 100m3 is deducted from the units consumed on the meter. A rate of €0.90 is then applied to the balance.
• The standing charge, currently €90 is applied, and added to the chargeable usage.
